A Little Bit About Me
I would describe myself as quiet, an introvert. I love films and reading, my favourite genre is crime thriller.
I love animals, I have four cats!
I’m always looking to learn and grow as a person, I’m keen to travel and learn new languages. I love trying recipes from around the world.
I think, like most people I am a mess of contradictions. I’m quite independent, but like being taken care of and the idea of being the Yin to someone’s Yang. I like spending time with people but also being alone, long conversations but also comfortable silence. I like listening to other people’s stories, but I don’t share much of mine until I’m really comfortable with people.
I don’t like to waste people’s time or have mine wasted. I also don’t believe in empty promises or grand statements which have no basis in reality. I’m open to meeting and having coffee with like minded people, genuinely interested in getting to know someone for the purpose of marriage.

What I Am Looking For
Someone who isn’t quick anger. I don’t like loud, angry, mean people (does anyone?)
Someone who doesn’t get worked up about small things. There are disappointments in life and people will make mistakes or wind you up. I need someone who is able to just relax in these situations, to breathe and let these things go. Someone who knows that it is better to be kinder and softer with people, as that usually makes them respond in the same way.
Trustworthy- this is a big one! Be open and honest about things, even if things aren’t going well, I’d rather know than worry about why my partner is stressed. I don’t want lies, even if it’s to protect me, because if I find out the truth after, the trust is gone.
Someone who respects my decisions, even if you don’t agree with them, listen to me openly and fairly, let’s talk things through.
A partner who supports me, spends time listening to the work that I do, encourages me to go for my dreams and builds up my confidence. I want a partner who celebrates my success, brings me a cup of tea when I’m working hard, and gives me a hug when times are tough. I will do the same for my partner.
A person who earns halal. I don’t care what you earn or how much-as long as it earned in a halal way. A partner having a job is important, not just for money, but more so that we’re both productive, working to build our lives together, so one person doesn’t feel resentful that they’re giving more. This will bring barakah in our lives, and increase the love between us.
Someone who is open to trying new things and having fun- be open to new experiences. I want a partner who doesn’t mind trying new things. I love theme parks, I want to visit new countries and climb mountains, I want to camp under the stars and wrestle a bear (ok, maybe just poke a bear), but someone who wants adventure.
